Who we are
The Canadian Institute for Applied Intelligence (CIAI), a company of the HR StrategiQa group, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
What we collect
- Account details you give us: name, email, country, organization and job title
- Exam, payment, answer, result and certification records, including how often the exam window was left
- Your government ID number, stored encrypted
- Your LinkedIn profile address, if you choose to provide it, and whether you have authorized its use for certification purposes and certification posts
- Technical data needed to run the site securely, such as IP address for rate limiting
Why we use it
We use personal information to deliver exams, issue and verify credentials, process payments, answer enquiries, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Your LinkedIn profile
Providing your LinkedIn profile is optional. If you authorize it, CIAI may use your profile to verify your identity and professional details for certification purposes, and may mention or tag you in official posts announcing your certification. We record when you give this authorization, and you can withdraw it at any time from your candidate profile; withdrawal does not affect posts already published.
Verification
Anyone with a certificate ID can see the holder's name, the credential, its version, issue date and status. No other personal data is shown.
Your rights
We handle personal information in line with Canada's PIPEDA and the data protection laws of the countries where candidates are located. You can request access to, or correction of, your information at any time.
Retention and security
Certification records are kept for as long as needed to verify credentials. Access is restricted by role, passwords are hashed and sensitive fields are encrypted.
